If you’ve been thinking about applying to the 2016 American Craft Exposition (ACE), now is the time to do so!
The deadline for all artists to submit their applications is Friday, March 11. Tell your friends, family and community of artists that the time to apply is now!
ACE is among the most popular fine craft shows in the country, welcoming thousands through its doors each year. The 2016 Show will be held again at the world-renowned Chicago Botanic Garden over the weekend of September 23 – 25, 2016, with the Benefit Preview Party on Thursday, September 22nd.
Approximately 140 craft artists will be chosen to participate in this year’s ACE to showcase new achievements in jewelry, ceramics, metal, fashion wearables, glass, furniture, fiber decorative, leather, paper, wood, mixed media and baskets.
In addition to featuring unique pieces from award-winning craftspeople, ACE is committed to fostering the next generation of artists. Those who have been practicing their craft for less than six years and who have never exhibited at ACE are encourage to apply for the emerging artist category, which will be juried separately from the other applicants.
