ACE Artists: Face to Face

Chat (virtually) with ACE Artists, Live!

This summer, the American Craft Exposition (ACE) produced a new event series, ACE Artists: Face to Face, a video conversation via Zoom for art enthusiasts and friends presented by The Auxiliary of NorthShore University HealthSystem.  Each virtual event featured 15-30 minutes with an ACE artist sharing insights into their craft, demonstrating their unique artistic techniques, and participating in a Q&A with attendees.

The response was overwhelming, hundreds of you were able to join us live! We are beyond glad that so many were able to tune in, listen to and submit questions to our featured artists: Thomas Turner (jewelry), Steven Skinner (ceramics), Robert Farrell (metal), and Amy Nguyen (fiber wearable). We also know that summer is a busy time, so each interview event was recorded and will be released on the ACE website and on ACE’s social media channels at the end of September (as a nod to the unfortunately cancelled 2020 event).

In the meantime, take a look at the video clips we’ve published by clicking here! And don’t forget to follow ACE on social media (links at the bottom of this page) for more updates!
