ACE 2020 Update

We hope this finds you in good health.

It is with great disappointment that we share news regarding the American Craft Exposition (ACE) scheduled for October.

Unfortunately, after thoughtful deliberations, The Auxiliary of NorthShore University HealthSystem has voted to cancel ACE 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Given the uncertainties surrounding this virus in the coming months, the high-volume crowds in close proximity at the show, and the health and safety of the artists, patrons and volunteers, it was an understandably difficult but necessary decision.

We know you share in our disappointment in the news but support the decision to prioritize everyone’s health and safety during this time.

While the event has been cancelled, we are working on alternative ways to continue supporting our cause for 2020-21, the NorthShore University HealthSystem SAVE MOMS initiative. We will be communicating more on this and other updates in upcoming weeks with our ACE community.

We are all going through an unprecedented time of uncertainty, yet we find comfort in knowing that our ACE family of artists, volunteers, supporters, and partners will remain constant. We hope you are continuing to appreciate inspirational creativity during these times, and will use our social media channels as a universal way to stay connected.

Should you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact us at or 224-364-7270.

Sincerely,

Kathy Gianaras and Alexis Washa
