This collection features individually hand-crafted bags produced solely by the artist using the highest quality Italian leathers and unique precious/semi-precious findings. Contemporary and primordial impulse are boldly integrated into each bag, consisting of as many as 150 hand-cut pieces that require multiple forming and stitching processes including French binding. Every cut, every stitch is faithful to balance – whether symmetrical or asymmetrical – and Old-World craftsmanship. An attitude to the highest quality materials and tools, and an understanding of the needs the products serve epitomizes the essential craftsman of this work.
