We create contemporary metal design by using steel, copper, wood, glass and wire.  Each piece is individually handmade in our studio and represents what we believe is the best combination of art, design and functionality.  We work with tools that include a plasma cutter, welder, band saw, and grinders.  We polish, bend, form & patina the metals.  We slump, fuse and sandblast glass.  We join, sand and stain wood and we lacquer all pieces for durability and ease of care.  We make art you can use.

Ken is a five-time recipient of the Maryland State Arts Council Individual Artist awards.  Julie and Ken are represented in the Arts in Embassies program and currently have work in Georgetown, Guyana.
